On another occasion while out gold prospecting in Alaska this rock caught my eye. It is so unique and different that I had to look closer and I asked myself “what is this”? Upon closer inspection I had to question my thinking. “Is this a petrified dinosaur bone?”
This rock or petrified dinosaur bone must have formed hundreds of thousands of years ago or even millions of years ago.
Some areas of this bone are so soft that I can scrape it off with my fingernail.
Could it be a petrified dinosaur bone? If it is, which dinosaur did it come from?

I still do not know if this is a highly mineralized rock or a dinosaur bone but I plan to have a museum look at it
