THE LIVING SYMBOLS OF GOD

In the beginning of 2006 Monica had a vision of a painting but we didn’t know an artist. Three days later a young man that I know left a phone message for me regarding other business so we went by his machine shop and there was Bonnie whom I had known for years outside a shed with an artists brush and a tube of paint. Bonnie was in her early seventies at the time. I introduced Bonnie and Monica and Monica asked if she was an artist and Bonnie said she does portraits and showed us several pieces of art inside the shed that she was working on. They were great and the details were amazing - the portraits looked exactly like the photos she had of the person she was painting. Monica explained her vision for The Living Symbols of God to Bonnie and Bonnie said that she had prayed three days before for something to do besides portraits. Monica had received her vision three days prior to this chance meeting, also. We asked Bonnie to create “The Living Symbols of God” and she was excited about doing it! After Monica explained to Bonnie what we wanted and after many trips to consult with Bonnie about the progress and details of the painting over several months The Living Symbols of God is finally finished! It is absolutely marvelous! We have joined with Bonnie to make prints of it and she has delivered the painting to the printers to scan and make prints. We will actually finally get to bring Living Symbols of God home for our living room wall. We are so happy to finally be bringing this beautiful work of art home!

We are driven by a Higher Power during these end times to do all within our ability to help those that are less fortunate than ourselves. We have used our own money to start Goodwill Offering and make donations to it (it is not our money anyway – it belongs to God – and he can take it away in the twinkling of an eye).

We will use all proceeds and donations to improve the lives of widows, orphans and others in need

According to James 2:15-16 suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food and someone says to him go in peace, keep warm and eat hardy, without giving him what he needs, what good does it do?

There are many people that we see on a regular basis that do not have proper clothing for the weather conditions they live in and many of them do not have sufficient means to purchase their daily food. We at Goodwill Offering seek these individuals to assist them in their time of need. Please help us to help others. And if you do not have an Offering please Pray for those in need.

Luke 6:38 “give and you will receive gifts!

The full measure compacted, shaken together and overflowing will be put right in your lap. For the measure which you measure out will be used to measure back to you!”

There are many children, handicapped or impaired and elderly who do not need clothing or food because they live at home, in a facility or hospital but many have other needs such as: transportation, a bed to sleep on, a television or some other form of entertainment to occupy their time and allow them to stay mentally active such as a game to play with friends or family AND we will try to help in any or all of these needed items every time we can.

There are many food programs and other programs for the basic necessities of life but there is a void in programs for entertainment, furniture and games or activities to occupy their time, give them physical activity and stimulate their mental functions. As we grow we plan to fill that void - with your help - if you would like to help in this goal please visit one of the businesses who will donate to our - and your - efforts.
